The hype surrounding Tua Tagovailoa continues to grow in NFL circles as the former Alabama quarterback continues to progress from his mid-season hip injury that ended his collegiate career in Tuscaloosa.

In fact, NFL Network draft analyst Bucky Brooks recently graded Tagovailoa ahead of Joe Burrow when it comes to grading the QB prospects for the 2020 NFL Draft. The way the former NFL player and scout sees it, Tagovailoa has the most potential of the two signal-callers.

While we won’t likely see Tagovailoa take part in any activities at the 2020 NFL Combine, which takes place Feb. 27-March 1, the former Alabama quarterback will be on hand to meet with all the teams interested in speaking with him and evaluating the latest on his rehab process.

You can count Daniel Jeremiah among those interested in learning what NFL teams have to say about Tagovailoa following the combine as the NFL Network draft analyst notes that some NFL teams do in fact have the former Alabama quarterback rated higher on their boards than Burrow.

“There are teams you talk to that have him above Joe Burrow,” Jeremiah says in the clip below, “I have Joe Burrow above him. I think it’s a fascinating debate that’s going to take place. I think the health is one part of it but I know Joe Burrow, a lot of people ding him, one year and all this stuff, but Joe Burrow played more top 10 teams as an LSU Tiger than Tua did as a member of the Alabama Crimson Tide.”
