WATCH: Alabama fans sing ‘Dixieland Delight’ as Crimson Tide lead Auburn big in Iron Bowl

“Dixieland Delight” returned to Bryant-Denny Stadium this season, and Alabama fans made sure to sing along as the Crimson Tide had a big lead against Auburn in the second half of Saturday’s Iron Bowl.
The song had stopped playing at Alabama home games due to fans chanting expletive language toward Auburn, the school’s biggest rival.
But on Saturday, the song played, and Crimson Tide fans cheered on their team’s big lead over the Tigers:
However, the song may not be back for long.
As several people mentioned on Twitter, Alabama fans did not chant “Beat Auburn” as athletic director Greg Byrne urged them to when bringing the song back to Crimson Tide home games, instead returning to expletive language.
So this could be the final time that Alabama fans celebrate against Auburn by singing along to “Dixieland Delight.”
This version of Dixieland Delight was definitely not clean. The Alabama student section has been waiting weeks to let loose, and it did.
