WATCH: Alabama long snapper Thomas Fletcher ‘unofficially’ breaks world record for longest snap
Considering he’s a long snapper, Thomas Fletcher showed up to Alabama with a ton of hype.
Rated as the top high school long snapper in the country by multiple recruiting sites, Fletcher was so good at his craft in high school, he landed an invitation to the 2017 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He even went to famed Florida school IMG Academy to perfect the art of the long snap.
Well, needless to say, Fletcher has lived up to the hype for Alabama thus far. He has even has shown the ability to show off just how good he is at his craft. Thursday, this clip was posted, showing off just how far Fletcher can snap it.
He unofficially broke the world record for the longest snap on record.

Cincinnati Bengals long snapper Clark Harris, the world’s official record holder, has since responded to the video. His record snap is 36 yards, 8 inches set at this year’s Pro Bowl.
