WATCH: Calvin Ridley scores first NFL touchdown with nice catch in red zone

Calvin Ridley got his second preseason game off to a hot start, returning a kickoff for 34 yards and making a 36-yard grab later in the possession.

Then, on a drive later in the game, Ridley — a former Alabama star receiver — scored his first NFL touchdown, catching an eight-yard pass and diving across the goal line.

As you can see in the video below, Ridley splits a pair of Kansas City Chiefs defenders and gets into the end zone:

Ridley is showing why the Falcons made him a first-round pick, flashing the speed, route running and hands that made him a star in Tuscaloosa.

Falcons fans will love seeing these highlights, and when Ridley is sharing the field with fellow WR (and fellow ex-Alabama star) Julio Jones, the Atlanta offense will be tough to stop.
