It hasn’t taken Feleipe Franks long to win over the locker room in Fayetteville.

The first-year Razorback quarterback was just named a team captain by Arkansas after transferring in from Florida as a graduate transfer. He is joined by Rakeem Boyd, Grant Morgan and Jonathan Marshall as the four leaders on the team heading into the upcoming season.

Each player is a senior on the team.

Boyd turned down an opportunity to declare early for the 2020 NFL Draft to increase his value playing for Sam Pittman and in Kendal Briles’ offensive system, while Morgan and Marshall each appeared in 12 games last season for the Razorbacks.

Arkansas team captains for the 2020 season:

Feleipe Franks, quarterback

Rakeem Boyd, running back

Grant Morgan, linebacker

Jonathan Marshall, defensive tackle

The Razorbacks announced the news with the following post:

Michael Wayne Bratton

A graduate of the University of Tennessee, Michael Wayne Bratton oversees the news coverage for Saturday Down South. Michael previously worked for FOX Sports and NFL.com
