It’s Texas day for the Arkansas Razorbacks.
Early Saturday afternoon, Arkansas landed its second commitment from a state of Texas prospect. Three-star DB Myles Brooks committed to the Hogs over offers from Ole Miss and SMU, among others.
Brooks is ranked as the nation’s No. 49 best safety and the state of Texas’ No. 85 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. The Pflugerville, Texas, native was offered by the Hogs on May 3. Since that time, he committed to Baylor and then backed off his pledge on June 19.
Earlier Saturday, the Hogs landed a commitment from 3-star OLB Zach Zimos, and Brooks’ commitment gave the Hogs No. 13 for the class of 2019. Interestingly, of Arkansas’ 13 commitments, six of them have come in July. Things are certainly heating up for Chad Morris and company.
