ESPN analyst believes Arkansas among unranked teams capable of making Final Four run
Last season one SEC team made a magical run to the Final Four as Frank Martin’s South Carolina program shocked the world reaching the final weekend of the college basketball season. If Jimmy Dykes is right, Arkansas could make a similar run in the upcoming NCAA Tournament.
The 21-9 Razorbacks, 10-7 in SEC play, have been one of the hottest teams in the nation during the stretch run of the season — winning six of their last seven games with only a trip to Missouri remaining on the schedule. With a win in Columbia, the Razorbacks will clinch a top-four seed heading into next week’s SEC Tournament.
During a recent appearance on Bo Mattingly’s Arkansas radio show, Sports Talk with Bo, ESPN college basketball analyst Jimmy Dykes had some incredible praise for the Razorback program heading into the final weekend of the season.
This is the time you want your team to be hot and with a strong showing in the conference tournament, Arkansas very well could head into March Madness with some serious momentum. Here’s a clip of Dykes’ appearance on the show, courtesy of @SportsTalkwBo:
