Trash-talking Missouri LB willing to apologize, Bielema: “Water under the bridge”

Missouri linebacker Eric Beisel got into the rivalry festivities on Tuesday, saying his Tigers were going to dominate “Ar-Kansas.”
After hearing of Beisel’s comments, Missouri coach Barry Odom gave Arkansas coach Bret Bielema a call and said his linebacker wished to apologize. Bielema’s busy schedule prevented that apology from taking place, but the Razorbacks’ leader said it was not necessary.
“Water under the bridge,” Bielema called the issue on Wednesday’s coaches teleconference.
It might be a non-issue for Bielema, but that might not be the case for his team on the field when they resume the Battle Line Rivalry.
