As the Arkansas Razorbacks gear up for a Week 1 matchup against Rice on Saturday, they could be without one of their offensive stars.

WR Treylon Burks has not practiced in several days with an undisclosed injury, and it seems he’s still not at 100%.

During the SEC coaches media conference call on Wednesday, coach Sam Pittman said he still isn’t sure whether Burks will be able to play on Saturday or not:

“He is still going to be day-to-day status,” Pittman said.

With a Week 2 matchup against Texas looming large, perhaps the Hogs are hoping to limit Burks until then. We’ll see if he can go on Saturday or not.

In 9 games in 2020, Burks had 51 catches for 820 yards and 7 touchdowns. The Hogs will hope to have him back at full strength sooner rather than later.
