Arkansas junior cornerback Ryan Pulley went down with a strained pectoral muscle in the Razorbacks’ season opener in Little Rock against Florida A&M.
Pulley missed the majority of the second half.
Last season, Pulley ranked fifth on Arkansas’ tackle chart with 47 total stops (33 solo tackles). Pulley was tied for first on the team with two interceptions and led the Hogs in interception return yardage.
As Associated Press sports writer Kurt Voigt points out, Pulley’s injury is quite significant considering the Hogs have to play TCU next week.

It’s safe to say Pulley is one of Arkansas’ best defensive backs, so if he can’t go, that’s a problem.
With nearly 3,500 passing yards a year ago, TCU had the Big 12’s fifth-most powerful passing offenses. Senior Kenny Hill, once a Texas A&M Aggie, returns for the Horned Frogs at the QB position.
