WATCH: Arkansas just ran the worst offensive play of the season
By Keith Farner
Published:
Arkansas’ offense has struggled all season, and it doesn’t seem to change much depending on who’s in the backfield. But so far, the Razorbacks haven’t literally gotten in each other’s way. Until Saturday.
WR Jordan Jones appeared to take a handoff in motion, but RB Rakeem Boyd immediately got in his way as QB Ty Storey was in the middle of them. The play lost several yards, but was just part of the offensive problem for Arkansas as the Razorbacks trailed 14-3 at halftime.
Arkansas had four first downs, 61 passing yards and 2 rushing yards as it was 0-for-6 on third down. Many of those yards came on the final drive of the half that resulted in a field goal.
Coach Chad Morris has a tough rebuilding effort ahead of him, but plays like this will make this season even longer, while also landing on many blooper reels.
