In the long history of Major League Baseball, spanning over 100 years, no one has ever hit for the “home-run cycle” — which means a solo homer, a two-run homer, a three-run homer and a grand slam in the same game.
On Saturday, it took Arkansas sophomore INF Danielle Gibson only four innings and four at-bats to accomplish the incredible feat.
As you can see below, she smacked the two-run bomb in the first inning, followed by the three-run shot in the second, the grand slam in the third and the solo homer in the fourth inning:

Gibson finished 4-for-4 with 10 RBI in the Razorbacks’ 15-3 win over Southern Illinois University – Edwardsville. The game ended in five innings.
Gibson followed it up on Sunday by going 1-for-2 with two RBI in a 10-2 win over IUPUI to finish off the Razorback Invitational. However, her Saturday performance is what will be generating buzz for a long time to come.
