WATCH: The emotional moment when Frank Ragnow found out he was a Detroit Lion

Arkansas C Frank Ragnow was one of the biggest risers in recent days, and on Thursday night, that was cemented.

Ragnow, who didn’t allow a sack in college, was selected by the Detroit Lions with the No. 20 overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Ragnow wasn’t in Dallas for the event, but he watched with family, friends and coaches. Below, you can see the emotional moment when he got the call from the Lions and new coach Matt Patricia:

It’s always great to see the moment when a player’s hard work and years of dedication pays off, and Ragnow is one of the hardest workers in the country.

Now, he’ll head off to Detroit, where he’ll be counted on to anchor the Lions’ offensive line for years to come.
