Jason Peters may be out for quite a while after sustaining a knee injury Monday.
The former Arkansas TE and OL star for the Philadelphia Eagles was carted off the field after a defender rolled into his right knee. It was a scary sight. Peters will undergo further testing to determine the extent of the injury, but it does not look like he will be playing again anytime soon.
Peters has had a remarkable career after going undrafted in 2004. He made the switch from tight end to tackle in 2005 and has turned into a potential Hall of Fame player. Peters has been to nine Pro Bowls and has received two first team All-Pro selections.

Peters played at Arkansas from 2001-03. He finished his Razorbacks career with 27 catches for 288 yards and 4 TDs. Fans will wait to hear more about the extent of the knee injury on Tuesday.
After undergoing an MRI on Tuesday, Ian Rapoport reported on Twitter that Peters is indeed done for the season after tearing his ACL and MCL:
Sources: The #Eagles did not get good news. LT Jason Peters tore his ACL and MCL, his MRI revealed. They had hoped just MCL.
