Auburn AD Jay Jacobs provides update on suspect in Toomer’s Corner fire

After Auburn’s 18-13 victory over LSU on Saturday, a tree in the iconic Toomer’s Corner was set on fire in a suspected arson case.
What was originally thought to be an accidental fire was quickly determined to be suspicious when video emerged of a man who appeared to be setting fire to some of the toilet paper draped over the tree.
On Sunday morning, Auburn athletic director Jay Jacobs provided an update on the suspected arson, saying the Auburn police had apprehended a potential suspect:

Nothing else regarding the case has been made official at this time.
