Auburn adds commitment from JUCO basketball player during Big Cat Weekend

The Auburn Tigers are hosting their big recruiting event — Big Cat Weekend — this weekend. It has already paid off with a football commitment, and now the Tigers have added to their basketball roster as well.
JUCO forward Javon Franklin committed to the program on Saturday, and will join the Tigers after playing at Holmes Community College last season.
Auburn announced the addition of Franklin via Twitter on Saturday evening, as you can see below:

Franklin averaged 10.8 points and 8.2 rebounds as a freshman at Holmes last season, but he had a leg injury that kept him out all but one game this past season. He has three years of eligibility remaining.

Franklin has not been rated by any of the major recruiting services.
