The Auburn Tigers were blown out of the NCAA Tournament on Sunday, falling to the Clemson Tigers in embarrassing fashion.

However, the Tigers managed to win a share of the SEC regular-season title, and even making it to March Madness was a good step for coach Bruce Pearl’s program.

Still, there’s the cloud of the FBI investigation into college basketball that has already landed former Auburn assistant Chuck Person in trouble. Many are wondering if Pearl will keep his job, and on Sunday, he talked about his job security moving forward (via AL.com):

“I’m Auburn’s basketball coach and I’m blessed and happy to be Auburn’s basketball coach,” Pearl said following Sunday’s 84-53 loss to Clemson. “I want to stay at Auburn. Like I’ve said all season long, I feel very good about the position that we’re in, the process that we’ve gone through and my anticipation is that I’ll be Auburn’s basketball coach.”

A lot could change, as there will be plenty of questions asked this offseason. For now, though, Pearl and the Tigers are still together.
