Auburn’s Zykeivous Walker announced via Twitter on Monday that he would be entering his name in the NCAA’s transfer portal.

The defensive tackle had apparently already left the program prior to revealing his intentions on Twitter, as was reported by 247Sports earlier Monday.

The 6-4, 304-pound junior had played sparingly this season after recording 12 total tackles for the Tigers the last 2 seasons.

Walker had been a highly regarded prospect in the 2020 recruiting class.

He was rated by the 247Sports composite as a 4-star prospect and the No. 79 overall player in the nation.

Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin also confirmed Walker’s departure during his Monday press conference.
