Auburn received some good news on Thursday — as two expected contributors appear ready to return from injury.
Via fellow linebacker Cameron Toney, Tre’ Williams is back practicing with the team. After losing its three starting linebackers from a season ago, Williams appears ready to be a leader within the group in 2016.

A balky ankle had limited his participation in practice in recent weeks. With a huge season-opening matchup against Clemson on Sep. 3, Williams’ return is a considerable boon for the Tigers.
In addition (as reported by 247Sports), receiver Kyle Davis could be “full go” by Sunday or Monday, according to offensive coordinator Rhett Lashlee.
Since enrolling early this past January, the 6-foot-2, 219-pound pass-catcher has been battling various injuries. Davis was an elite 4-star prospect entering Auburn via the 247Sports composite rankings. His combination of physicality and height makes him a prime candidate to play as a true freshman this upcoming year.
