Auburn is 3-0 on the season, but the offense has yet to show flashes of what a normal Hugh Freeze offense looks like.

These things take time, but fans aren’t happy with the Tigers’ first-half offensive performance at Texas A&M on Saturday.

Auburn managed only 3 points in the first 30 minutes in College Station. Yes, the defense played well, holding the Aggies to only 6 points, but the offense accounted for exactly half of that total during the first 2 quarters. The only points Auburn managed came on a 53-yard field goal with 10 seconds left in the second quarter.

Needless to say, Auburn fans are frustrated with the offensive showing in the first half, particularly with regards to QB Payton Thorne:

Can the Tigers bounce back in the second half? They get the ball first in the third quarter, so they’ll have a chance to take the lead.

Also, Texas A&M QB Conner Weigman suffered an apparent leg injury in the second quarter.
