Auburn’s offensive performance against Clemson was worst of Gus Malzahn era

Auburn’s defense had an incredible Saturday night on the road against Clemson, holding the defending national champions to only 14 points.
However, the Tigers’ offense had its worst performance since Gus Malzahn took over as head coach, compiling only 117 total yards and allowing a whopping 11 sacks in the 14-6 loss to the defending national champions.
Saturday’s performance was so bad that it surpassed the 2011 Iron Bowl as the Tigers’ worst offensive showing under Malzahn:

Highly touted QB Jarrett Stidham looked lost at times in Auburn’s offense, and the fact that three of the Tigers’ worst four performances under Malzahn have come in their last five games is certainly alarming.
It’s safe to say that, while it’s not on the same level as Kevin Sumlin’s at Texas A&M, Malzahn’s seat is getting a little hotter.
If the Tigers can’t bounce back and show some signs of life in the next couple of weeks, the pressure will only continue to rise.
