Auburn’s first big test of the 2022 season hasn’t gone especially well, as the Tigers trail No. 22 Penn State, 14-6 at home at halftime Saturday.
Despite gaining 233 yards of total offense in the opening 30 minutes, the Auburn offense could only manage a couple of field goals.
The Tigers are 2-0 to start the season with wins over Mercer and San Jose State, but they lost their final 5 games a year ago.
Head coach Bryan Harsin also had a tumultuous offseason, as his handling of the program in his first season was investigated by the University.
Auburn fans haven’t been thrilled with the results to date or the first half on Saturday, and they’re letting their feelings be known on social media:
If Bryan Harsin is still head coach next week I will riot
