If you watch Auburn football games, you know that coach Gus Malzahn is a big fan of sweater vests.

He wears them all the time.

Donning the ‘ol wool-infused body armor isn’t a trend that everyone follows. You either own it or look like your grandfather at a Denny’s on a Wednesday afternoon. Malzahn didn’t choose this lifestyle; it chose him.

Campus Rush writer Kelsey Hendrix does not share this same love of sweater vests and decided to rank Malzahn’s 10 worst game-day looks based off this explanation:

Not since the days of Jim Tressel pacing the sidelines at Ohio State has the sweater sans sleeves made such an impression on college football fans. Want one of your own? That’ll cost you a pretty penny with the official Under Armour number coming in at a whopping $134.99. Who knew dressing like your dad could break the bank?

So how could we adequately show our appreciation (or lack thereof) for arguably one of the worst choices in coaching apparel? By ranking them, of course! Enjoy this walk down Tiger-football memory lane as we take a look back at the worst of the worst from Gus’ ever-growing sweater vest collection.

Without further adieu, here are the top three most awfully good vests from the Gus Bus (click here to check out all 10):
