Jimbo Fisher caught in awkward position on field during live turnover return
Jimbo Fisher nearly tackled an Auburn linebacker on a fumble return Saturday.
Eugene Asante recovered a Texas A&M fumble and took it all the way for a touchdown. Fisher was on the field for some reason and Asante had to dodge to the Texas A&M head coach.
Whether Fisher meant to be in the way of the touchdown or not, Auburn still capitalized on a 68-yard scoop and score.

Asante played his first season at Auburn last year. He transferred from North Carolina and played in four games for the Tigers with plenty of experience at the linebacker position.
Asante had 19 total tackles coming into Saturday’s game. He also had 3.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks.
While the focus will be on why Fisher was on the field, Asante is showing he can be a difference maker on defense.
