Malik Blocton is nearing a final decision.
Blocton will make his college commitment on Saturday, he announced on Tuesday morning. The Alabama native has received numerous offers from some of the top programs in the country.
He announced 5 finalists as well: Alabama, Auburn, Troy, Texas and Florida.

Blocton is a major target for the Tigers. He’s taken multiple trips to Auburn and he initially received an offer from the program back in November of 2021.
He would be a huge pickup for Auburn in the class of 2024. He’s the No. 424 overall player and the No. 44 defensive lineman in the country, according to 247Sports Composite rankings. He’s also the No. 24 player from the state of Alabama.
Blocton attends Pike Road High School in Pike Road, Alabama. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, 268 pounds.
Auburn has 8 commitments so far in the class of 2024. Five of those commits hail from the state of Alabama. The group is currently No. 52 in the country, per 247Sports Composite rankings.
