It’s do-or-die time for former Auburn OL Greg Robinson, the No. 2 overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft.

The Los Angeles Rams have decided not to pick up the massive 6-5, 332-pound tackle’s fifth-year option, meaning 2017 will be his last chance to prove he’s worth an NFL roster spot:

Robinson has started 42 of the 46 games he’s played in since joining the NFL, but has had problems avoiding penalties.

Due to his struggles, he was benched against the New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers last season, despite being physically healthy enough to play.

If he wants to land a new contract this offseason, he’ll need to show that he’s capable of succeeding in a starting role and not just a guy who takes up a lot of space along the offensive line.

Robinson was part of the 2013 Auburn squad that won the SEC title with a championship game victory over the Missouri Tigers.
