WATCH: Auburn crowd goes wild as Tigers receive annual Iron Bowl trophy

The Iron Bowl rivalry took place on the basketball court on Wednesday night, as Auburn hosted Alabama.
Not only did the Tigers take a 40-35 lead into halftime, they also received the annual Iron Bowl trophy at halftime.
As you can see in the video below, shared by @SimoneEli_TV on Twitter, the Auburn football team came out to accept the trophy, sending the crowd into a frenzy:

Obviously, the Crimson Tide won the national championship, so they won’t be too upset, but you know it makes them a little mad to lose the rivalry to the Tigers.
Next year’s game should be another exciting one, and could once again decide who goes to the SEC Championship Game.
