Dabo Swinney’s Clemson Tigers have been a College Football Playoff fixture over the last few seasons. Clemson doesn’t look to be contending for any kind of championship this season.

Swinney’s squad fell to 4-3 on Saturday, losing to Pitt 27-17. As you might expect, Swinney is getting shredded on Twitter. Swinney’s threat to quit coaching if players get paid has been a frequent callback with Clemson’s struggles during the NIL era of college football.

Here’s a small sample of what college football fans are saying about Swinney on Twitter:

Clemson next plays a Florida State squad that is now 3-4 after an 0-4 start. Swinney accused the Seminoles of ducking Clemson last season when the game was canceled due to FSU’s COVID situation.
