Tank for Trevor: Fans in Jacksonville openly cheering for Jaguars’ opponent

At 1-13, the Jacksonville Jaguars have long been out of the playoff picture. Jaguars fans in attendance Sunday in Jacksonville know that they still have something – or someone – to cheer for in future No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence.
The home crowd in Jacksonville is committed to the tank for the top pick in the 2021 NFL Draft. Jags fans went viral for cheering after the Chicago Bears scored a touchdown.

Those same fans are presumably pleased that the Bears managed to get a field goal at the end of the half to take a 13-10 lead. Quarterbacks Mitch Trubisky and Mike Glennon traded interceptions in the final minute of the half.
In the other “tank watch” score, the New York Jets, also 1-13, lead the Cleveland Browns 13-3 late in the second quarter.
