Al Borges was an offensive coordinator nearly every season from 1985 to 2013, making his lone SEC appearance from 2004-07 for the Auburn Tigers.
Borges’ other stops have included Michigan, San Diego State, Indiana, Cal, UCLA, Oregon, Boise State, Portland State and Diablo Valley.
While at UCLA, he was a finalist for the Frank Broyles Award in 1997 and 1998, which goes to the nation’s top assistant coach annually.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
