Perhaps best known as Nebraska’s head coach for a period of time that began in 2008, Bo Pelini also served as defensive coordinator in Les Miles’ first three seasons at LSU.
Nebraska won either nine or 10 games each season under Pelini from 2008 to 2013, appearing in the final AP Top 25 in five of the six seasons.
Pelini also has served as the co-defensive coordinator at Oklahoma and also coached for the San Francisco 49ers, New England Patriots and Green Bay Packers.
Popular on social media for his humor and willingness to interact with the FauxPelini account, but also has endured his share of controversies, including from a leaked audio clip bashing the team’s fans.
