Cameron’s first season as LSU’s offensive coordinator in 2013 was a home run for the Tigers as senior quarterback Zach Mettenberger enjoyed a career-best campaign under the former NFL play-caller’s direction. Cameron, a two-sport star at Indiana from 1979-83, began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at Michigan a year after graduating and blossomed from there.
Prior to join Les Miles’ staff at LSU, Cameron was an assistant for three different NFL teams from 2002 to 2012 including five years with Baltimore as the Ravens’ offensive coordinator. He’s been a head coach at the collegiate level, leading the Hoosiers from 1997-01.
