D.J. McCarthy coached receivers and special teams at LSU from 2007-09 in his lone SEC stop.
McCarthy has coached at the high school, college and NFL levels, including several stops at Florida high schools and as the secondary and special teams coach of the Oakland Raiders from 1998-2000.
Some of his other college stops include Nevada, UCF, UCLA and Bethune-Cookman.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
