David Saunders

A former Auburn walk-on, David Saunders has spent time in football both on and off the field in the SEC.
Saunders coached linebackers for Ole Miss in 2006, but also spent time with Mississippi as assistant to the athletics director for recruiting, coordinator of high school and community college relations and as an administrative operations coordinator.
He headed up on-campus recruiting for Tennessee in 1997.
Saunders was head coach at Millsaps from 2002-05 and also has held assistant coaching jobs at Louisiana-Lafayette, Arkansas State, Baylor, Nicolls State, Georgia Southern and Jacksonville State.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
