Best known as a head coach for Louisiana Tech and BYU for a total of seven seasons, Gary Crowton also spent 2007-10 as LSU’s offensive coordinator under Les Miles.
Among the Tigers standouts during Crowton’s tenure were Matt Flynn, Jordan Jefferson and Stevan Ridley.
Crowton also served as the offensive coordinator for the Chicago Bears in addition to stops at Southern Utah, Maryland, Oregon, Georgia Tech, Boston College and others.
An itinerant journalist, Christopher has moved between states 11 times in seven years. Formally an injury-prone Division I 800-meter specialist, he now wanders the Rockies in search of high peaks.
