The longtime Purdue assistant joined Kevin Sumlin’s staff at Texas A&M in 2013 as the Aggies’ linebackers coach. Hagen served on the same staff as Sumlin with the Boilermakers in 2000 under Joe Tiller and posted more than half — 11 total seasons — of his career coaching experience in West Lafayette, Ind.
