2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament schedule (Updated June 3, 2022)

The 2022 NCAA baseball tournament starts Friday, June 3 with regional play. All 64 teams are in action Friday, and regional play will end Monday, June 6. Sixteen national seeds were named as host campuses for regional play by the NCAA Division I Baseball Committee.

On Friday, teams will begin their journey of reaching the College World Series in Omaha, Nebraska. Of the 64 teams, 32 were selected on an at-large basis by the Division I Baseball Committee.

The favorite to win the national championship are the Tennessee Volunteers. The Vols were named the No. 1 overall seed in the tournament after winning the SEC regular season title and the conference tournament championship.

Following this weekend’s regional action, the Super Regionals are scheduled to start Friday, June 10 and finish by Monday, June 13. The winners of the best-of-3 series then reach the College World Series, which starts on June 17 and finishes June 27. Punching their ticket to Omaha is every college baseball player’s dream.

According to DraftKings, the Tennessee Volunteers are currently the favorite to win the College Baseball World Series. DraftKings is one of the legal sportsbooks available for Tennessee online sports betting.
