2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament schedule (Updated May 31, 2022)

The 2022 NCAA Baseball Tournament schedule starts Friday, June 3, 2022, as 64 teams begin their quest to reach the College World Series. Of the field of 64 teams, 32 of them received automatic qualifications. The remaining 32 teams were selected on an at-large basis by the Division I Baseball Committee. Sixteen teams were seeded and placed at one of the 16 regional sites.

The Tennessee Volunteers received the No. 1 overall seed after making history by winning the SEC’s Regular Season Championship and the SEC Tournament. Some are asking whether this Tennessee team is the greatest college baseball team of all-time.

The Regionals are scheduled to be played Friday, June 3 through Monday, June 6. The Super Regionals are scheduled to start Friday, June 10 and finish by Monday, June 13. The College World Series starts on June 17 and finishes June 27.

According to DraftKings, the Tennessee Volunteers are currently the favorite to win the College Baseball World Series. DraftKings is one of the legal sportsbooks available for Tennessee online sports betting.

The NCAA Baseball Tournament Regionals is a 4-team, double-elimination tournament. The 16 winners of each regional will advance to the Super Regionals where they will play a best-of-3 series to advance to the Women’s College World Series.
