Here is where the SEC stands on D1 Baseball’s RPI rankings

D1 Baseball released its updated RPI rankings on Saturday. The SEC had 7 teams in the Top 25.

D1 Baseball’s ‘Nitty Gritty Report’ takes overall record, strength of schedule, wins over RPI teams, and win locations into account with its rankings. The SEC has the 2nd-most teams inside D1 Baseball’s Top 25 among the Power 5 conferences. The only other Power 5 conference to have more teams inside the Top 25 was the ACC with 8. The Pac-12 had 3 Top 25 teams, while the Big 12 had 2 and Big Ten had 1.

Here’s where the SEC baseball teams ranked:

  • Tennessee: No. 1
  • Auburn: No. 4
  • Vanderbilt: No. 5
  • Georgia: No. 13
  • Florida: No. 15
  • Texas A&M: No. 23
  • LSU: No. 24
  • Arkansas: No. 29
  • Ole Miss: No. 34
  • Alabama: No. 50
  • Missouri: No. 51
  • Kentucky: No. 57
  • South Carolina: No. 77
  • Mississippi State: No. 104
