David Collins fouled Wendell Moore on a breakaway dunk and Moore came down *really* hard (he’s ok, thankfully). Then the coaching staffs traded …some words… and now refs are reviewing for a flagrant foul.

David Collins is ejected from the game for a flagrant 2 after undercutting Wendell Moore Jr. Scary play. Thankfully Moore is OK.
Collins and Brownell apologized to K and Moore before he left the court.— Matt Connolly (@MattOnClemson) February 11, 2022
Seriously. That is criminal. Eject him. Suspend him. We’re all playing a game out there together. It’s a game. And that could’ve been a catastrophic injury to Wendell Moore. David Collins may not be a bad person, but that is an inexcusable play to make.

Watching David Collins and Brad Brownell go over and apologize to Coach K was both weird and appropriate all at once.
Glad to see Wendell Moore Jr is okay. #Duke

Man, that’s a sucker move from David Collins. Just insanely dangerous. Wendell Moore is lucky to not be seriously injured.

What in the WORLD was David Collins thinking?!
Really glad Wendell Moore was OK, but that was just terrible.

What an absolutely malicious and disgusting play from David Collins on Wendell Moore. That HAS to be an ejection.

Here’s the play in case y’all missed it. Scary, scary stuff.
Brownell Tuesday: Sometimes when you’re beat you have to let the guy go, not pick up a foul and give up and and-one.
This is the worst possible way to do the opposite. https://t.co/KtCTzc97ys— Matt Connolly (@MattOnClemson) February 11, 2022
Clemson coach Brad Brownell and Clemson’s David Collins (who has been ejected) came over to Duke bench to apologize to Coach K. Collins was pointing to his chest to say “That’s on me”.
