The Pac-12 took a huge hit recently, as USC and UCLA announced they were leaving the conference for the Big Ten starting in 2024.
Now, other Pac-12 schools are taking a long, hard look at their futures and deciding whether they want to leave the Pac-12 or not, too.
According to reports, 4 current Pac-12 schools — Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State — will meet with the Big 12 on Tuesday:
Sources indicate to WildcatAuthority that there will be significant discussions between the Big 12 and Pac-12 this week. It would include four Pac-12 members joining the Big 12.https://t.co/6wDBvAaRnb

This would be an interesting turn for the Big 12. After Texas and Oklahoma decided to leave the Big 12 for the SEC, many wondered if the Big 12 was falling into obscurity.
If the conference was able to land those 4 Pac-12 schools, the Pac-12 would essentially be on life support, while the Big 12 would once again be one of the better, deeper conferences in college athletics. We’ll see what the future holds, but anything is possible at this point, it seems.
