ACC Championship Game: Opening betting line revealed for Clemson vs. SMU

ACC Championship Game teams are set, as the Clemson Tigers will take on the SMU Mustange next Saturday in Charlotte.
Clemson’s Saturday got off to a tough start on Saturday, as the Tigers lost to South Carolina, 17-14. However, the day got much better when Fran Brown and the Syracuse Orange knocked off Miami to put Clemson in the ACC Championship Game.
FanDuel has put the opening line for the game up, and it has the Mustangs as 1.5 point favorites. The total has also been set at 55.5 points.
SMU has run the table in its first year in the ACC, with its lone loss being an 18-15 loss to BYU in September. The Mustangs have had only 2 ACC games within 7 points, and have won their last 4 ACC games by nearly 23 PPG.
This figures to be an eliminator game, as the winner will be in the CFP while the loser looks like it will be on the outside looking in. This is the first year that SMU has been in the ACC, and it will be the first-ever matchup between these 2 teams.
Kickoff in the ACC Championship will be next Saturday at 8 p.m. ET and the game will be at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte. The game will be aired on ABC.
