The ACC Championship Game was the domain of Florida State and Virginia Tech in its early days. But over the past decade, it’s essentially evolved into a Clemson Invitational.
Dabo Swinney’s Tigers have made 8 trips to the title game since 2015, taking home the trophy each time. Along the way, they’ve beaten 6 different opponents – including Notre Dame during its 1 brief COVID-altered season as a conference member. Only Pittsburgh in 2019 and Florida State in 2023 have have broken through to interrupt Clemson’s recent dominance.
