Saturday has a lot of potential to be a chaotic day in the College Football Playoff race, and the Big 12 Championship Game certainly got things started in that direction.
Oklahoma State QB Spencer Sanders threw 4 interceptions, but the Cowboys still had a chance to win late with a 4th-and-goal play from the 1-yard line.
Below, you can see what happened, as the Cowboys’ rusher ended up a fraction of an inch short on his dive for the end zone.

Oklahoma State has only itself to blame, as goal-line struggles cost the Cowboys dearly:
Oklahoma State had 7 plays in the 4th quarter from Baylor's 2-yard-line or closer. It did not score a TD.

The Bears are now the Big 12 champions after hanging on for the 21-16 victory. The win for Baylor probably ends the Big 12’s hopes of getting a team into the College Football Playoff.
But, there’s still plenty of time for other crazy things to happen before Sunday’s final CFP rankings are revealed.
