Dabo Swinney just made the dumbest decision, and Miami burned him

The Clemson Tigers were beating Miami 21-3 just seconds before halftime; however, Dabo Swinney’s dumb decision cut the Tigers halftime lead to just 21-10.
Swinney sent his kicker B.T. Potter out to try a long 61-yard field goal, and Miami blocked it and returned it for a 48-yard touchdown.
A 61-yard field goal? Those kinds of decisions come back to bite you, and it bit Clemson hard. Can Miami take advantage of it in the second half? Clemson is clearly the better team, but if you allow a team like Miami to hang around, the Tigers could get burned.
Here’s the play:
For some reason, Clemson lined up for a 61 yard field goal at the end of the half…which Miami easily blocked and ran back for a touchdown #MIAvsCLEM pic.twitter.com/vjnfxMFKy4

Reaction is pouring in:
It is not going to matter but that was a very stupid, arrogant decision by Dabo to try that field goal.

Wow. Clemson has totally dominated this half. Has 21 first downs. Miami has only 3 but after that blocked kick the Canes, somehow are only down 11 points at the half.

Questionable coaching decision there. Could have taken a 21-3 stranglehold to the lockerroom. Now?

Dabo admits coming off the field that was a dumb decision and it's all on him.
