The JSU Tigers opened up a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and cruised from there. It was 31-0 Jackson State at halftime, with Sanders’ team adding another 22 points in the second half while keeping Edward Waters scoreless.

Sanders received a celebratory Gatorade cooler bath after his first win as a college football head coach.
