The Chip Kelly era at UCLA is off to a poor start. So much so that Kelly is now taking criticism from his player’s parents.
The father of UCLA freshman quarterback Dorian Thompson-Robinson ripped Kelly, calling his play-calling ‘lousy’ and his success at Oregon ‘simply a fluke.’
All of his critical points were in response to other tweets, and Thompson-Robinson’s dad seemingly wanted to voice his frustration to anyone who would listen on social media.
He is speaking on and about the factual… It is all about the coaching, lousy coaching and play calling… Coaching that is so bad that it demands closed practices… Million dollar coach who bares no responsibility… Just random observations from a frustrated dad!

Look, coach Kelly, if you wish to call him this is 4 and 26 for his last offensively called football games… Dorian has only played in 3 of the last 30 games… Can you say duped!

His years at Oregon was simply a fluke on his part… I am sure that he stood on the shoulders of the actual player callers… Random thoughts, outside looking in, closed practices…

Thompson-Robinson has completed 54.7 percent for 522 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions in three games, two of which he started. UCLA sits at 0-3, having lost to Cincinnati, Oklahoma and Fresno State. The Bruins lost their last two games by at least 24 points each.
Kelly led Oregon to a 46-7 record from 2009-12 and took the Ducks to the BCS National Championship in 2010, but since then, he flamed out with the Philadelphia Eagles and won only two games with the San Francisco 49ers in one season.
Since leaving Oregon, Kelly owns a 28-39 record as a head coach.
