Fight breaks out in stands during Houston-Texas Tech game at NRG Stadium

An ugly scene broke out during the season-opening Houston vs. Texas Tech game at NRG Stadium on Saturday.
Texas Tech ended up winning the game 38-21, but a lengthy fight was recorded by a fan in attendance. Multiple punches were thrown as Cougars and Red Raiders fans went after each other in the stands, with stadium security eventually intervening to diffuse things.

This wasn’t the only fight of the college football weekend. On Friday, North Carolina and Virginia Tech fans got into it during the Hokies’ 17-10 win over the Tar Heels at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg.
