Jess Sims has taken a strange road to get to College Gameday. A former basketball player at Trinity College, Sims was once a teacher and later a school administrator before getting into the health and wellness, first as a personal trainer/fitness teacher and a later at Peloton.
Now Sims will be part of the ESPN weekly road show, helping set up the day a college football.
Sims was on the McElroy and Cubelic show Friday and talked about her role on the show.

“I’m going to be making the live appearances from all the campus sites that we visit,” Sims said. “I’ll be bringing the energy and personality through interactions with everyone — the fans on site, the special guests we’re going to have planned this season..”
Sims talks with the radio hosts about the campus sites she’s most excited to see and the her general love of college football.
The season debut of College Gameday is Saturday at 10 a.m. ET on ESPN.
