Appalachian State won a thrilling game against Troy on Saturday afternoon, clinching the victory on a last-second Hail Mary.
It was a magical day in Boone, as ESPN’s College GameDay was on hand for the first time in school history, too.
But, after the dramatic victory, there was some bad news. Per an alerts page for the emergency response in the Boone area, multiple “traumatic injuries” were reported in the aftermath of the field being stormed:

Six additional emergency response units were requested at the stadium to handle the injuries.
Hopefully, all those injured in the field storming are able to recover soon.
